[It's not all that unusual to see a redhead in a bar, but perhaps it is to see one with a plainly wrapped package.

Lavi is toying with it with one hand, the other holding a glass of scotch still somewhat full.]

Being stupid about what? [Hiding his surprise at seeing Lavi, but he might feel it through the bond anyway. It's not every day he sees him in a bar, after all.]

[slkadgh Spilling a bit of his scotch, not having paid attention to his bond either. Lavi puts down the glass and licks at the scotch spilled down his arm and hand.]

Nothing...

[Watches him for a moment before sighing.] Right. [Goes behind the bar to get himself something to drink.]

[He's trying! He's still hurt by too many things right now to be completely nice...]

How... How've you and whomever it is you're with now been doing? [Yes. He knows.]

[teasingstar]

[Something flashes in his eyes as Tyki pours himself a glass of whiskey.]

So you know. [Takes a sip.] I'm not with anyone, regardless of what you might think. We have feelings for each other, but we're not going to be in a relationship.

[arebornstar]

[Softly, a bit hurt.] How could I not? It went right through the bond...

But you'd still rather be with them than trying to help me get to know you better. [Help him accept the bond.]

[teasingstar]

I'm not with them now. [Looks at him.] What exactly do you want to know about me?

[arebornstar]

[He's getting tired of repeating himself, but for now he just keeps his head bowed, gripping the glass with both hands.]

Anything. I just... I want to get to know you, Tyki... You can ask me anything you like as well if we have to do it that way. I just...don't want either of us hurting anymore...

[teasingstar]

[Chuckles a bit, taking a sip of the whiskey.]

I became a Noah when I was only seven years old.

[Blinks, looking up at him.] S-so young?

Joyd - the Memory's name - wanted to wake up early, I guess. I ended up staying with Rhode and the Earl after that. [Not going to mention his family...not unless Lavi asks about them.]

[arebornstar]

[He remembers what's been said about Nea when he finally "wakes up" in Allen, the younger man having to kill someone he loves. Lavi doesn't want to bring those back up.] What else?

[Doesn't mean on that topic necessarily. Just...whatever Tyki wants to tell him. Even his daily quirks, how he likes his coffee, shower or bath, his favorite color or music even...]

I play the violin.

[Though, he pauses, remembering what the other Lavi told him. And he finishes the rest of his drink and pours himself another glass.]

[Fingers his glass.] I wish I could... [Trailing off, really he wants to hear Tyki play but he's free to take it as Lavi wishing he knew how to play.]

[Just hums a bit.]

I can play for you if you want, or teach you how to play.

[arebornstar]

[Smiles softly.] I'd like that...to hear you play. I'm horrible with musical instruments anyway.
