[Kanda is presently occupying one of the neutral sitting rooms, on one of the couches. His his lap is a wododen box, old and weathered with some vines sticking too it and the hinges and clasp rusted over.  It's roughly jewelry box sized

[Crosses his arms over the back of the couch to peer over at what Kanda is doing]

[Hands the box back, giving it another raised eyebrow when it starts rattling again]

[Sets it back down and turns the back up, pulling the lid up just enough to get his fingers under it. It'll take a bit of force, but he'll be tearing that lid right off, bumping back against the couch when he does.

Something also comes flying right out when it's open]

[Oh shi- Ducking and covering!]

[No need to, it's not coming for either of them. Just fluttering right in front. Kanda leans forward a little to inspect it.

... Looks rather like a fairy, actually. An angry fairy]

[Peeks back over the couch and peers up at it, since it's fluttering a bit higher than Lavi's head]

[Kanda raises an eyebrow at it. The fairy looks down at its box, then slowly up to Kanda. Deciding he's to blame for all the knocking around and opening, it quickly dive bombs towards his head.

Not that Kanda's standing still for that. Ducks out of the way] Hey!

[Tries to pick up the fairy by the collar of its shirt (or scruff of the neck if its not wearing anything)]

Um, little winged guy. Kanda is the only reason you were freed from your little rusted box prison.

[It doesn't look like the fairy cares. It evades Lavi's hold and tries to smack him instead. Kanda turns around to watch, frowning]

Tch. Figures it would be something annoying.
