[In this spring courtyard is an Allen fast asleep on a park bench.

He's exhausted after fighting to get Alice to eat, nap, or do anything she's supposed to do. He finally dropped her off at the DR's daycare after twenty minutes of her crying and clinging to him

[Even while asleep, Alli, you sound wound up in the worst possible kind of way. And that has this wee vampire kind of worried.

...clearly this means you are in need of food. So he disappears from the room, briefly, and comes back a few minutes later with an armful of food.

Which he promptly and quietly sets down on the bench beside Alli.]

[Alli starts a bit at the shifting of the weight on the bench.. but isn't exactly all the way awake.

He rubs at one of his eyes and stretches a bit...] Len...? [you feel weird... different. Are you actually Len or just a different Allen?]

Ah... Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. [Pausing to straighten up a bit, flexing the fingers of his right arm. Still stiff. :/ ] You just... seemed sort of upset, so... [So food usually makes people happier, right? Especially Allens.

a beat.] Hi Alli.

[shakes his head and rubs the kink in his neck from sleeping awkwardly on the bench. He was sleeping? wut. How did Len know he was upset? He wasn't crying or something was he? Alli rubs at his face and blinks at the dry hands.] Oh um.

[well at least it's definitely Len. oh hi food. Alli blinks at it all.] O-oh! Thanks, Len... [small dozy sort of smile] I didn't really mean to fall asleep.

[He'll be poking at now, time to wake up kid.]

[fumbles and falls out of his seat on the bench onto the ground.]

I'm a-awake! [flail]

[Dorky grin.] Good, good. Can't have you sleeping outside now, can we?

I-I'm fine! [frownfrown] I s-sleep outside a lot--or I used to, I guess. [BEEN TRYING NOT TO because there is no bf around to wake him up or drag him inside.]

[Comes waltzing in like she owns the place. Notices Allen sleeping and smirks. She walks over to him, her movements stealthy so that she makes no noise. She leans over the sleeping figure, her hands clasped behind her back. Gently she blows on his face, just to see what happens.]

[His nose twitches, but he's pretty much out cold for now. He's had a long rough few weeks.]

[Decides to let him sleep for now. She doesn't feel like being mean today. She sits down on the ground at the end of the bench, where his feet are. She pops in a pair of headphones and turns the music down so as not to disturb him. She closes her eyes and leans back, relaxing. It's been three days since she got any sleep and it doesn't look like she'll be sleeping soon. She understands his need for sleep.]

[No feet on this one, just hooves, but she's free to sit there if she would like.

He'll just continue to nap then.]
