The dream gives a sudden lurch, and it's suddenly taken place in a meadow - the sun high above in the sky and the chirping of the birds in the air.
Off somewhere in the middle of the meadow - there's a grand piano standing in a field of flowers and leaning against it is a Road, or someone who looks like Road. She's older, taller, nothing at all like how she would usually appear. Off to the side there's the Bookman apprentice, sleeping.
The woman doesn't look happy.
