[A muggy, humid dusk has fallen over this courtyard; it's the kind of humidity that makes the clothes stick to your skin and your hair cling to your neck. It won't last much longer, though: there are storm clouds in the sky, gathering for a nighttime downpour, and thunder rolling in the distance. It's only a matter of time until the sky breaks open

[It seems you've caught a Tyki. Because he's climbing in over the railing just as the first drops of rain begin to patter down. He glances once at her dress and state and settles back on the bench across from here.]

Odd that we even get weather in a place like this, don't you think?

[She glances at him from the corner of her eye, and turns to look back out as the rain starts pouring. Mmm~]

[Just reaching down to hold the bottle out to him. Red wine, Portuguese; a rather decent vintage. Don't mind how stiff her own arm is.]

[Oddly his own arm is mostly better--still not as mobile as before but it's improving. He leans forward and takes the bottle, raising an eyebrow questioningly.]

You look worse for the wear, lass. Been up to something?

[She's really not in the mood for the whole song-and-dance conversation. As soon as the bottle is out of her hand, she draws her legs up beneath her and wraps an arm around her belly.]

[Walks over to, his black hood over his head and covering most of his face.]

What happened? ["Who did you fight with?"]

[The only reason why she's not about to jump up and run Mugen through him is because she recognizes the voice. Looking away.]

I'm fine.

[herlastwish]

You don't look it. [Kneels before her, taking her hand and running his hand over her arm, over the wounds and scratches.] Who did this?

[Jerks her arm away. D-don't touch that.] It doesn't matter. He's gone.

[Miranda often enjoyed walking in the rain. There was something about it that she just adored. When she noticed Kanda she strolled on up to her, bringing her umbrella down once she was under cover.]

Kanda?... What are you doing out here in this kind of weather?

[Not that it was that bad. It only just started raining.]

[Leans against the railing, looking out at the rain.]

I could ask the same of you.

It clears my mind...

[Nods her head. A silent, "Well, there you have it." Have a long, long pause.]

It's a girl.

[felinewishes]

[taking cover from the rain would be a good idea. Kandakitty would really rather not be wet.

He noticed her in the gazebo, but it's only after he turns from gazing at the rain does he notice her condition. Have a flattening of his ears and a worried sort of headtilt]

What happened?

[She leans back in her spot, resting her head against a beam.]

Alma.

[felinewishes]

[flicks his tail and knits his brows slightly] What? Why would he do that?

It... wasn't Alma. I don't know what it was.

[lastnightswish]

[Kanda had been resting her head against the nearest beam, staring out at the courtyard as the storm was building. She lifts her head the moment she hears his voice. It sounds strange, younger than what she's used to. She hasn't noticed the baby just yet, but it could be because she's peering at Tyki with an equally-confused sort of look.]

[Why is he younger? And why does he have Beansprout's scar?]

... what happened to you?

[Kind of convinced he's one of the other Tykis at the moment.]

[lastnightswish]

[She quirks an eyebrow at that, but gestures with her head to the cushioned bench on the other side of the gazebo. A silent, "Go ahead." Finally noticing the bundle in his arms though, and it makes her do a double-take. ]

[.... okay, so he's one of those weird versions. What is this stupid desire to go and look at the squirming thing? D:]

Unfortunately, I don't have any bottles of milk.
