[after a run in with a certain bratty Noah, Kanda's got a leg and his stomach bandaged up, as well as some around his hands. but that won't stop him from hobbling around the DR with a crutch under his arm. he's not wearing his glasses right now; they're in his pocket.

hobbling closer to the bundle of misery to see who it is. that kind of cry is something he's heard before, and he doesn't like it.]

[Any psychiatrist would be able to see that the poor kid curling even deeper into the corner is suffering from a nasty withdrawal - whatever's in his system is obviously not agreeing with him, if the way the sweat makes his hair stick to his skin has anything to say for it. An observant psychiatrist would notice that the straight jacket he's wearing is rather old; it looks like something from the 1950s'.

[granted, Kanda isn't exactly an expert in straight jackets, but he does know that the kid isn't wearing a 'modern' one. this is why he doesn't like going into mental hospitals all that much-- seeing these young people strapped down just kind of gets to him.
