[today the dressing room is being greeted with a rare occasion, a definite change from the norm; filtering through the halls from some far-off room in the back of the West Wing is the distinct sound of Violin music. not piano - violin, if a slightly less beefed up and more classical version

[oh, a Lavi! he smiles, though it's more polite and business-like than anything. he's not sure if he's met this one before.]

What does it look like I'm doing? [for emphasis, he plays a few quicker and slightly more upbeat notes, fingers sliding easily down the neck of the violin before moving back up.]

[erk. he didn't think it was quite that obvious. sigh.]

...just a little. It's nothing major.

[Peeks inside, very curious as to where those sounds are coming from.]

[oh, he attracted a child! ...he's still not really sure what to do with children, but he offers a slight smile regardless.]

[has a armful of flowerpots with all sort of wildflowers in them--he's still working on replanting the ones he has in his room--and pokes his head into the room and smiles at the song]

[he actually smells the flowers before he notices Allicorn, and raises his head slightly to glance at the door... blinking when he actually sees who it is.]

[he sounds unsure, though. as sad as it might be, he's only ever seen the other Allen while he was... multicolored.]

[blinks. It doesn't occur to him about the lack of rainbow, for once.]

I didn't know you played violin. It was really cool. [another surprise, he's not stuttering right now?]

[well, the fact that he doesn't correct him on the name is indication enough that this is the right Allen, but. what. no rainbow, no stuttering... it really feels like he missed something.]

It's... I've been playing since I was a kid.

[Drops some spare change in the case and flops down on the bed. Don't mind him. He's very comfortable right now]

[he glances down at the case and grins slightly, apparently not minding the extra person on his bed.] Finally, someone that tips! Tourists are much easier to get cash from than the people here.

[Reaches up to poke him in the forehead] Maybe it would go better for you if you fiddled your tune where there was a proper audience.

[he lifts the hand with his bow in it to bat the hand away from his head with his elbow, notquitesmirking.] I haven't practiced in awhile. No proper audience will pay if you can't play anything.

[not that he... ever really expected to get cash from anyone in the Dressing Room anyway. It's not like anyone there needed it, after all]
