[Allen tilts his head to the side, obviously confused. Then he smiles as he gets it and takes a step toward her, hands held up in surrender.]

I'm not the Allen from your world. Unfortunately, that pamphlet is real...

[ after a few moments of struggling, she finally manages to smooth out her expression into one of confusion instead. One hundred years of practicing this skill pays off well ] This pamphlet - it was talking about multiple worlds too, right? How is that possible?

[Ah, but your body doesn't lie very well. He can still hear the guilt as ticks inside, though he won't push to try and understand it.] I'm not sure myself. But I've met several versions of the same person, so it's not a dream.

[Sorry if she has a personal bubble, but Allen's in it probably, looking up at her from a lower angle to make sure she's okay. She'll probably notice his lack of scar and gold eyes, the fangs are hard to pick up unless he's talking and he's good at hiding them.]

Oh . . . yes, I'm fine. Sorry, I'm just - [ wrings her hands a little bit ] It's just a bit hard to take in is all.

Do people usually stay here a long time? Because it said in the pamphlet that there was no way out.

I'm...not sure to be honest. Those I've met haven't gone back home, that I know of. You're in a hurry to get home?

Well, I do need to go to work, or I won't be able to stay in my apartment. And I think I'd prefer home to here, to be honest. [ and because she actually was starting to get used to the place, damn it ]

[Soft smile.] I agree with you, about the last bit. It's easier for me to be at home than here. But I make the most of it. [She'll probably get used to this place and then get sent back. D:]
