Ah, I met a strange woman a few days ago. I think it was a woman, anyway. Did you know, in her world we're all fictional characters? And she was the writer. It was so strange!

That lady talked about a prototype series, and a later one. It was...she really seemed to think she was responsible for everything that's happened to any of us. It's ridiculous, but maybe in her world, it's true.

God, thinking you're responsible for all that, poor woman. Well if our lives suddenly turn into a happy joy filled land where nothing bad ever happens, we'll know it's true.
Maybe she'll have the Earl become a reformed character. The Order could be a charitable organisation that...grows flowers or something. You could spend all your time drinking in brothels. And I could - I don't know, do something fun. [grins] Shall we look forward to it?
She said she was very sorry. If she's right and everything she says goes, then we can expect a wonderful time any time now.
...I don't think it's going to happen, but oh well. [chuckles] Let's get some food, Master, and who knows, maybe you'll suddenly end up somewhere better.
