DGMDR MAZES AND MAPS MEME

Because the DR changes so much, it is essentially formless, although it's a general agreement that it is made of many hallways that lead to all sorts of crazy rooms.

We were curious, what rooms people used a lot/would like to be semi-"stable" rooms within the dr.

These aren't room ideas but I think some of what's generally understood as being stagnant are the lotus courtyard, east and west wing ballrooms, basement labyrinth (if it's still around)... the train still around? Anything else I'm forgetting?

The train should still be around (or at least, I'm still using it every while!), though it doesn't have a set location other than "wherever anyone wants it to be". There could be a few permanent train stations, if anyone wants.

The Countess has a secret lab that she used for the Akuma kidnapping plot (so it may not be quite so secret now, if any of the victims was awake, paying attention and had a good memory when they were taken there). The doors are hidden in the walls. I think it's somewhere in the South Wing. She also has another, less secret lab in the South Wing. She also has a room full of phones, similar to the one we saw in the Krory story arc during Eliade's flashback.

Hevlaska has a chamber somewhere in the North Wing. It's down a long corridor (usually, although the corridors might change a bit), and is generally well guarded.

I'm forever using kitchens and random rooms for characters, but I never really put much thought into the details.

I believe that in the South Wing, 1000year_earl has a lab where experiments regarding the Ark are taking place, but you'd need to check with Duet to know the details

Yeah, I don't know whether the clinic is in the East or West wing but that was a major staple! And full of shiny modern medical advances if I remember right. :)

Throwing out lots of random rooms I have used in the DR. Some may or may not be accurate based on my goldfish memory.

North Wing:
- Exorcist headquarters which I thought had the same general rooms and such, even if it doesn't have the correct number of floors, etc.
- Science Department headquarters was somewhere around there, too.

Themed Courtyards:
- Courtyard where it is always night. bloodyscore's home.
- Seasonal courtyards: Always winter, summer, fall, spring, etc.
- Courtyard that changes weather depending on the mood of the occupant.

Other Oddities- The beach inside of the cabinet in one of the kitchens. I'm not sure if it was ever given a location, but I remember using that on more than one occasion

That's right, now you mention it, the costume room did have a stage and things.

The Jerry cafeteria is somewhere I'm always using for characters! It's been around a long time, I think ever since there was a Jerry who introduced it.

And unluckynoah did get lost in a huge jungle/swamp type of place, after going too far into a labyrinth and getting lost. It could well have been that she went down the endless corridor without knowing it and got sent to it from there.
