[Kanda apparently needs to stop having run-ins with psychopaths. This is, what, the third time she's been spontaneously murdered?

The rooms in a total disarray from the fight, with damage to the walls, furniture torn and overturned, blood spattered about the place. Kanda's towards the back, lying on (or in) the remains of what was once a table. And there's far more blood on and around her than should probably be out of her body, bits of shrapnel from the table sticking into her body, and probably limbs broken and bent in ways that they really shouldn't be bending. Mugen's off somewhere else in the room, but that's not really her concern at the moment.

[Well that probably depends how he's doing it. She can't really stand on her own so well even with support, but carrying her own get more than little twinges as long as he doesn't majorly aggravate her injuries.]

You're cute when you're mad, yeah. The way your forehead creases and your mouth thins to a pout. It's actually quite adorable.

And your eyes are pretty. I guess I could make some over the top reference to a dark winter sky with the full moon high up overhead. But that doesn't do them justice, yeah. They're prettier than anything in nature I could compare them to.

[Flexing his fingers holding her upper body a bit. Trying to get a feel off whether or not her healing was kicking in. The scarf was so bloody... he couldn't tell just by looking at it]

[It's not. Even if she would have had a temporary death with these sorts of injuries anyway, she would have restarted almost instantly when her wounds were less fatal. But they weren't healing, and her heart was slowing and her breathing was getting more labored.]

[Pauses a bit, just staring at her. And what the fresh blood on his fingertips really meant. Lavi takes a few steps back, hitting the wall and slides down it, being extra careful not to jar Yuu as he settles down on the ground]

[Watches him the whole time through half-lidded eyes. There won't be any response from her--no energy or time to muster the words. It's only a moment after he pulls back from that kiss before her body falls slack and lifeless in his arms, head tilting back and staring out at nothing.]
