Allen | The Fourteenth on Eloi | JoyddualmelodyMay 16 2011, 23:45:18 UTC
To be fair, I haven't been tagging the DR much so we aren't missing anything. But I really do need to thread with you more ;;
I think I've given up trying to make him as canon as possible, given that we know so little about the Fourteenth's motives pre-betrayal and I think we still have a while to go. So, I guess this means I can spoil Dual's plans (because to say what he thinks of Eloi/Joyd would pretty much mean I'd have to do so)
The Player's motive was to become the Earl in order to bring the Earl down, essentially, whether this meant his own fall or not. The Fourteenth in canon states that the Earl has gone mad, that he's essentially become a puppet, and he pretty much feels the same about all of the Noah he meets. Joyd, of any incarnation, is no exception to this rule.
That aside, I think he feels that this Joyd is even more mad than most other incarnations given its penchant for splitting itself in half - which is a worrisome thought, really, because if a Memory can split itself in half, how many other Memories have done it
( ... )
/and just hugs Dual. Fortunately at the moment there are no other split-Memories. Joyd is the only one simply because he wanted more, I tend to think of him as Greed in a way, he wants what he wants and damn you if you get in the way of that. So he'd eventually have Lavi even if he had stuck with just Tyki, it would've been in a physical sense more than an entire being like it is now. The good thing is that Joyd doesn't have Tease? 8D;
It was just the deal struck up between Joyd and the Innocence, why Lavi's compatible. But chances are that if Allen (at home) struck him with the sword again it might work.
Tyki found himself falling for Kanda and then in love with him. He's overprotective of Kanda, wanting to just hide him from the world, but at the same time, Tyki can't bring himself to do that either. He doesn't own Kanda so he can't necessarily tell him what to do, after all. Though, it does help a lot that Kanda's presence can help make the nightmares go away. But, still. Tyki won't ever admit his feelings for Kanda. Ever. He doesn't want to lose his friendship with him, despite the fact that Tyki is more than aware that Kanda has feelings for him as well.
From the way Tyki sees it, Kanda deserves someone better than him. He just doesn't want to hurt the kitchen knife, but at the same time, Tyki's gotten to the point where he doesn't like sharing him with most people that he doesn't know (aside from 'Tias and even cat). Though, Tyki will beat a certain Crow up if he hogs Kanda all to himself.
Ki/Kura → A-Ahaha. Not much has changed really. He still loves Kanda, and he always will.
Eloi/Joyd on Road Eloi, as we know, has no real opinion of her yet since he hasn't met her. But he doesn't think too badly of her, it's gone from a one on his CR chart to perhaps a five, mostly because that she's Book. He can't get over the fact that it's Road, though. Maybe with time.
And Joyd loves doting on her just like any Tyki would, but he doesn't see her in that same kind of light. He does think she's too young so he'll just keep doting on her until she's old enough that he can pursue her. And who knows, he might actually start liking her in that light~ Right now he'll spoil and bring her presents, make sure she's okay. She's...quickly becoming one of those possessions like how he views Lavi's friends at home.
Joyd (gypsy) on Atticuslol Nothing has really changed aside from loving him but now he's confused and hesitant. He's unsure and doesn't really...know what to do now that they're together. Not to mention Marlene stirs up some jealousy and envy issues that he's trying to deal with. But he's trying at least. Even if he's

Spy on Star: Loves him without a doubt. He had no intention to fall in love with Tyki, he was perfectly fine with being good friends. He figured, for the longest time, that his attraction to him was just purely physical. He didn't realize that he really loved Tyki until he heard about him and Mattias. And it was a slap in the face.
Now that he knows, though, he still wants to stay close friends. He's actually a little afraid to even consider admitting his feelings for him. He doesn't want to ruin what they have, he doesn't want to ruin their friendship either, and he definitely doesn't want to lose him. So he won't tell him.
He's grateful for the help, how Tyki calms him enough to actually sleep. How he can keep the swordsmen calm and not worry as much. But he still worries, because he knows how Tykis can sometimes slip. On the flipside, he tries not to make Tyki worry so much about him too. He knows he's sucked royally at hiding things lately, but he still tries.
And, if he can help it? He wants to keep Tyki from Madarao, and
