They say that it is good to learn at least one new thing each day. Yesterday I learned that rush hour traffic exists (on I95 and the Capitol Beltway) on Saturdays. (Non, je ne comprends pas ... [how do you say 'either'?])

Today I learned that if you screw up badly enough, you can get ( Read more... )

In that case, you'd say "aussi," which is what I had suspected. (I checked.)

You definitely should not be wearing shoes that make your feet hurt. Bad Glenn! No spanking! If they make your feet hurt, what are they doing to your back and the rest of your musculoskeletal structure?

95/495 Rush hour traffic: any day, any time, it's true, whether it makes sense or not. Holiday weekends don't help.

I just bought Robin Wood's book on the subject so I was delighted to see your essay. :-D

At first I disagreed with your theory, since cats generate gravity the ability to increase one's inertia is a cat ability not an anti-cat trait. (As demonstrated by the inibility of people to stand up, or move the cat, when there is a cat siting on them.) In the book Robin also talks about cats causing those they pump gravity into to increase in mass.

But flight, or levity as Robin calls it, is definitely an anti-cat trait. Robin states that levity is the opposite of gravity, and demonstrates that water is the natural source of levity. I don't know how that fits with your theory.
