Update on Sims and their Simmer

Jun 15, 2009 20:13

I'm likely to be a bit out of things this week. May week officially started yesterday. Already I'm unbelievably stiff and exhausted from Suicide Sunday yesterday. King's had a fun day and the combination of sun, alcohol, bouncy castles, sumo wrestling suits and playing volleyball, from noon until 9 at night, surprisingly really took it out of me. I am official SO jealous of May week!

I was having lunch with one of my museum friends today who went to Jesus, and she was telling all about her weekend down in Cambs and how she was going back tonight for their ball, and my Emma friends still keep ringing me going "SUUUUUUUUSHIII SONGS!" and it all sounds so fun and I'm so so jealous! I'm seriously thinking of just rocking up sometime this week going OI GIVE ME FUN TOO because I could sure use it.

Have an awesome time at the ball tonight, free balls always rock ;) And aww, you're leaving our fair Blighty shotes? As a country we shall miss you, sniff.

I really do love May Week. Though it's exhausting. I actually went to Jesus Ball last year, the theme was "Bohemia" and they had an old fashioned steam powered Carousel. Very Fun.

You could always try to sneak into a May Ball. People do it all the time. Two years ago, a ton of people climbed over the adjoining wall between King's and Clare and crashed it.

I'm hoping I'm only leaving the UK temporarily. I'd really like to move to London.

Wow, busy week. Have fun m'dear, (and I'm sure you will).

Good luck with moving too, and like Gin, I'm all sadface at you leaving our shores. Come back and visit us, even if you don't manage to move to our fair capital.

Sounds like you are going to have a blast! I have never heard of May week over hear in the states but it sounds like something I would love to join in on.

Best of luck with moving. I hope everything goes well.
