Playing with New Pleasantv- erm, I mean the Megahood

Jun 04, 2009 15:47

So I've been playing the Megahood ever since I got Free Time and really enjoying it. Mainly I just enjoy having a clean Pleasantview to play with.
I was going to show some babies and then it turned into picspam... )

real life, megahood, sims, picspam

LOL MEGAHOOD.

Fires are everywhere, what did you do?

I want a Megahood, but I uninstalled Freetime. I have AL, though.
But... yeah.

Melody Tinker IS a bitch.
There is no question.
She is simply a bitch.
And will fight you even in your sleep.

Well, have fun with your Megahood. :D

Yeah alot of fires alot of places, maybe I've just forgotten that these sims don't have as many cooking skill points as I'm used to, and more trees than I remember.

I think there's a semi megahood HP links to that just combines the original 3 hoods, not certain but I think so :)

And yes, she is very much a Bitch.

Ah Melody Tinker.. Where would I be without you in my life to hate? Hehe.

Aww, that looks like so much fun Jamie! Everytime I see someone making the most of the Maxis characters it's always awesome. Look at all the wee little kidlets! Yay. Who's the S3 teen boy with black hair? My Maxis fail skills, let me show you them. But it's nice to have somewhere to play where you don't have to panic about shooting and stories and so on, so keep on enjoying!

Oooh, exciting news about Venince! V. jealous. Have a lovely time, and bring us back a gondola :D

Melody Tinker is clearly the brattiest child on the face of the simearth.

The Megahood is alot of fun yeah. You should definitely check it out. Do you mean the one in the leather jacket? That's Mercutio Monty, Romeo's...brother in game I think. I like him. Generally I'm just a bit more fond of the Monty's than the Capp's.

Haha, my friend Rachel said the same thing this afternoon. I'll be sure to bring back extra Gondolas for everyone!

YAY! for Don and Nina! I was kind of sad to see him married, even with Dina to distract him, but then you showed Nina! :D

Also, I seriously want to go summon all my teens to one lot now... oh the drama! Except Melody Tinker. She can DIAF for all I care.

In my mind Don and Nina always stay loyal to each other, no matter how many other people they happen to be sleeping with. The plan is to get him and Cassandra divorced soon anyway, have him shack up with Dina for a bit, but have Nina as his number one girl on the side...if that makes sense.

Considering the number of fires I've been having lately it's not too improbably that something like that will happen to Melody Tinker.

That actually makes perfect sense to me. I've never managed to get him to leave her at the altar, so he always has to get divorced for me too. And if Melody Tinker does die that way, you know we want pictures!

Whenever I see pics of the Megahood I always think about how much fun it looks, although that is a lot of fires.

Don and Nina are my OTP too, and I always hook them up in Pleasantview.

Have fun in Venice. It's somewhere I've always wanted to go, so I'm very jealous. :)

It's definitely fun to connect up all the isolated neighbourhoods, although being a bit a of a creature of habit I tend to leave the adult hookups, like Don and Nina.

Thanks I'm definitely excited to go and look at art and eat pasta with my family :)

I love that I'm not the only person who refers to the megahood as New Pleasantview. It's the only way that I can keep it straight from the non-mega version that comes with the game. My main issue is that Albany Capp, who no one has met in Whedonberry, keeps coming to the house and snatching invisipapers. It was particularly fun when caused the whole of Dean and Miranda's wedding guests to yell at him.

For the most part, though, the m-hood is rocktastic. I love the options that it opens up. I mean, the story connections between Pleasantview and Strangetown are reason enough for me to enjoy playing it.

Where do you get the megahood? I have a more lengthy reply but I need to go. I'll add it when I get back. :D

It's one of Hysterical Paroxysm's downloads at MTS2: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=301194

Pleasantview has always just had a bit of a special place in my heart, so it's not surprising that I've been playing it more than the other attached hoods.

That's weird about Albany though. So far the only random paper stealing I've had is Nervous Subject going after the Joque's paper every day.
