Oh, wow! I loved every bit of it - so biting and just awesome. And the glimpses of their future reality (with Ron and their fathers) fit in very smoothly, there were no fact dumps at all. Fantastic and realistic and now soon to be added to my memories.

Typo, missing a 'c':
He found himself trying to remember how many drinks she’d had, and was rather alarmed to see, now that they were standing so Close, just how small she was.

Thank you so much! You've no idea how reassuring this was. Exposition, and whether there's a lack or overabundance of it, has always been something I get a little unsure about. :) I can't believe you added to your memories! Wow.

I love this! Perfectly snarky conversation that was very amusing. I especially liked the part where he's talking about broadening her horizons:

"It's the principle of the thing. They've only brainwashed you into thinking this is normal. This is why the broadening of horizons is obviously, desperately necessary. Horizons that end someplace where there are waitresses, preferably. It will be beautiful. You may cry."

That just cracked me up! Sweet little romance fic that was full of witty banter (and very well written, I might add) without being 100% fluff. There were just enough hints of what each one had been through, which was just what it needed to make it credible. Great job! :)

Draco feels the need to act like he's so much more mature and cultured than she is. ^_~ I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Draco and Ginny are such an excellent witty banter couple - I always have difficulty doing their conversations justice. :P Thank you!

"Mystery Author." I quite like that! ;) I tried to fulfill your sarcastic/black humor requirement, but I think it turned out rather more like lighthearted banter with a dash of angst? XD I'm so glad you enjoyed it anyway! Thank you.

I always envisioned Draco as the cool, unemotional character, because I'd read so many fics like that. And then I realized that in canon, he's quite the opposite, despite his best efforts! XD This was my first attempt to capture that, I think. So my first reaction to this comment was "Oh, thank God, someone liked it." ^^; Thank you!

Yes, I have no idea how to categorize this fic. ^^; My writing leans toward totally fluff or totally angst, so this is the result of me constantly pulling the narrative toward a darker sort of humor, while at the same time attempting not to turn it into a huge angstfest. I'm happy to know it worked, to some degree!

I wanted to put in the battle scene at the beginning, but I completely ran out of time! Sniff. I did try to make up for it by showing that after the stuff they'd been through, they were, indeed, friends, even if perhaps neither of them liked to admit it in public. ^_~
