I know it's confusing, and perhaps I'll go back and edit, but essentially as Mr Lovegood was her legal guardian at the time of the arrangement, it's valid. She tried to explain that to Ron, but perhaps the time constraint rushed me a bit. Sorry!

I liked Draco's and Narcissa's characterisation in this! It seemed very fitting for Draco to want to fulfill everything that a Malfoy does, all proper and stuff(:
