Well, I found out that studying abroad in Japan for a semester is impossible for me, seeing that they require 6 semesters of language study before you go over... and seeing that I have a total of 6 semesters left, that makes it dumb.  HOWEVER, there is a week-long trip to study Japanese motorcar racing/Japanese culture next September that

Aww that's too bad about the study abroad thing. But, you can probably score a really nice internship (at least for a few months) after you graduate! A friend of mine here on LJ did just that -- I don't recall if they gave her a salary, but they did provide an apartment and such.
Don't worry about AWA...there will always be an AWA...there will NOT always be a chance to go to Japan for 3 credits. lol
I'm glad you're budgeting your time well -- I need a few more weeks to get myself straightened out!

Interesting... I'll definitely scope out possibilities for that. However, I think it would be best if I got an internship here in Indianapolis or Chicago before I graduate.

Lol, and yeah, AWA should take a back seat to a week in Japan + 3 credits.

I say I'm budgeting my time well, but my bedroom is a wreck... I've barely kept up with laundry and I haven't folded any of my clean clothes... and my papers are everywhere....
