Philippe plunked his bags down just inside the door and spread his arms wide. He breathed deep the scent of- well, he was sure he'd figure out what it smelled like later. At least it didn't smell particularly bad, which was always a plus. As long as the place didn't smell like boiling, green and barely edible

"Mostly. Not my fault, really... I thought you could use the company." Philippe's slow smile practically sparkles.

"It has been a little slow. Familiarity is good at the moment."

"Excellent. How slow has it been? The first thing I do when I get here is ruin a good kerchief on a broken nose. If _that's_ slow, I don't want it to be any faster."

Philippe drags his bag further into the room and offers his sibling a hug. "It's good to see you, though."

"Ugh, it's you."

"It's lovely to see you too, darling." Philippe drawls to his sister. "You're looking positively gorgeous today."

[sadean_heroine]

"Oh, yes, just what I need. Empty flattery from my empty-headed whore of a brother. If I wanted to waste my time with a fraternal nightmare, I'd find Edmond. He's at least cleverer than you. Oh, and I think he's looking for you. God only knows why."

"I feel so loved. You know I only whore when there are people around with the funds to afford me." He teases, once more stretching out his arms in a 'give me a hug' pose.

As he held the pose, he spoke, "So where is my far-cleverer brother, then? I haven't seen him." He doesn't deny the cleverer bit, either. No-one has ever accused him of brilliance.

Noticing someone that she hasn't seen before, Aria drops into an elegant, if subtle curtsy. When she speaks, her English is faintly accented. "Buon giorno. Are you new here?"

"That I am. New, that is." He gives the young woman what he hopes is a dashing smile. "You wouldn't happen to be related to me, would you?"

"No, I do not believe I am, but one can never be sure in such a place as this." She smiles and extends a hand. "Aria Lecter."

"Sorry, try again." Tori's grin is automatic, not overly bright but friendly, open, and welcoming. "Looking for siblings? They're probably around here, along with a few you never knew existed, if your family's anything like mine."

"Oh- why hello there~" Philippe turns on the charm... or at least what he thinks is charm. "I don't think I've met you before. An unfortunate oversight on my part, let me assure you."

"You have well over a thousand siblings, too?"

Tori laughs. "Clearly. You're new, obviously," she adds teasingly, "I'm not easily overlooked. And not quite a thousand, only six, but my cousins could populate a planet on their own." She offers a hand. "Tori Hades."
