A girl of about 25 prances -- yes, prances -- into the room. She twirls once before promptly flopping onto the nearest couch. She is tall with a lean, lithe build like that of a dancer, though she is no ballerina. When she twirls, her long, wavy blonde hair whips around behind her

Well, Violet may not be a ballerina, but it's a dance, and Aspasia never likes to pass those up.

She twirls en pointe once before landing in a bare-footed pliè, her hair bouncing as she does, and raising her hands above her head before bringing them slowly down in front of her chest, and she sinks into an elegant curtsey as she offers one to Violet to shake. "Hi."

Her eyes widen a bit in surprise, but she accepts her hand nonetheless, shaking firmly. "Hello. And you are?"

"My name's Aspasia. What's yours?"

"Violet." She smiles sweetly.

"Nice," a voice sounds from the doorway, and Sammy's standing in it attempting to balance a sandwich in one hand, a drink in the other, and a thick book tucked in the crook of his elbow. "That was graceful. Sadly, I only admire that quality in others because I'm sorely and tragically lacking in it myse--" The book drops a little, he shifts his arm and proceeds to spill half his drink on his arm.

"...Bloody hell." Despite the swearing, it doesn't seem to bother him much, and he grins sheepishly at her. "Point made, I suppose?"

She grins, amused by this whole presentation. "Yes, I suppose it's been made." She tilts her head to the side, smiling at him a bit more shyly. "But really, graceful's not usually a word that's used to describe me." She pauses. "What's your name?"

By now he's remembered that yes, tables are for setting things on, which means that he's set the food and book on the table and is currently giving his sleeve a sober look. "Alas, poor shirt, I knew it, Horatio. --Samuel Crowley, but you can call me Sammy. What about you?"

She giggles at the Hamlet reference. "Violet." She extends a hand. "A fan of the Bard, are we?"

She's just walked in and is looking around for someone when she spots her. There's a gasp of utter delight before she practically throws herself at her.

She makes a sound somewhere in between a cry and a laugh, throwing her arms tightly around her sister. "I was wondering when I'd find you!" She gives Marigold's hair an affectionate ruffle.

She's absolutely beaming, and hugging her tightly. "I've missed you so much..."

"I missed you too. I'm so glad I finally tracked you down." She nuzzles her happily.

She gets a vaguely amused blink from Nikolai. "Well, hello there."

Her cheeks flush the tiniest bit as she grins sheepishly. "Hello yourself."

He gives her a bit of a measured look, and then smiles and bows, quite gracefully. "You're Marigold's sister, yes, citizen?" (And if his cheeks go a little pink at the mention of Marigold's name, it certainly doesn't mean anything.)

She smiles at that. "I am, yes. I'm Violet. You know my sister?"

Thalia sees her and grins, friendly, flopping down nearby on the couch. "Hi."

She giggles at her new neighbor. "Hello there. I'm Violet. And you are?"

"Thalia. Nice to meet you." Thalia offered her hand, cheerful.

Violet accepted her hand, shaking firmly. "A pleasure!"
