Well, now. Should we do another "it's a such-and-such" intro? Of course, what "it" is is a good question, beyond the obvious fact that it's not really an it but a he or him or whatever masculine pronoun goes there. Then again, that only really matters if one actually cares what he is beyond the fact that he's male and around the shorter side of ( Read more... )

*glances over him thoughtfully and a little curiously, then gives a crooked smile* Hi. Would you happen to have a name, or...?

*gives Dio a quick look in return* Yeeeah, maybe. *offers a hand and a smile that's either genuine or well-practiced* Cooper. And you are?

*takes his hand -- and instead of shaking it, he's going to kiss it* Diomedes Hades. Pleasure to meet you.

*... that gets an instant of oddlook but...okay, sure* Pleasure, indeed. Impressively interesting name you've got there.

That's all we get? *and his shoulder is getting punched lightly, apparently, wtf Ky* C'mon, let us have a bit more. Name? Age? Mother's initials? Shoe size? Sexual preference? Anything, really.

*and Ky gets a brow quirk* Cooper. Old enough to know better but too young to care. MJC. I'd have to look at my shoe to remember. And does "not picky" count?

Delightful to meet you, I like that answer, always fun, memory failing you again?, and it most certainly does, I think we'll get along.

A pleasure, I'm rather fond of it, too, fun for useless trivia, my memory frequently fails me, oh good, always nice to know. Now do you have a name or am I out of luck?

Mostly boredom, to be honest. And curiosity.

*and after a moment of observation, he'll get a nod of greeting and welcome -- the fact that he has visible wings is probably not that big of a deal for Cooper, especially considering they're not quite as impressive as most of his family's*

*yes, wings are something Coop is entirely used to, though he usually sees more leather than feather -- he'll just return the nod with a slight smile* Well, I was wondering when I'd meet someone quiet.

*...has to give a small smile at that, looking faintly but genuinely amused, and he'll nod again -- quiet is certainly what he is*

*laughs quietly* Well, my name's Cooper. Can you talk at least enough to tell me what to call you or should I just stick to Silent Angel?

Hi! *and if he looks like he just escaped from a doctor's ordered bedrest, that's exactly what happened; bandaged, slightly limping, but altogether incredibly cheerful* I'm Tristan how-the-hell-am-I-supposed-to-remember-my-middle-names Pendergast. I talk too much, I'm really frightening if I drink too much caffeine, I have the best boyfriend in the entire world, and that's pretty much all you need to know about me.

*totally notes the bandages and all but it's hard to hold that against him so he just gets a laugh and a grin* Well, hello Tristan if-you-can't-remeber-them-all-than-I-never-would-so-whatever Pendergast. I'm Cooper. Boring, I know. I talk a lot when I have a reason to, I'm almost immune to caffeine at this point, I have no significant other to babble about and that's about it for me, too. Unless my being the son of a demon who fails at evil counts as important.

inhibitionsaway December 10 2006, 08:51:56 UTC
That certainly counts as important, because here, family background counts for a lot-- but as long as you're not some secret relative of mine from the union of either dad and that demon you were talking about, I'm not that easily surprised and we'll probably get along fine. *grin* But I'm sure you're not boring, because nobody is, since I always find something to latch onto and ramble about. -- And did you know that my sister is the daughter of the Devil?

Seeing as my mother is a 100% genuine, born and bred human of the female variety, the likelihood of her being one of your dads is pretty much nil. I suppose I'm not entirely boring, as it's pretty difficult for anyone to not have at least one interesting little fact about them. As for your sister, I didn't even know you had a sister, seeing as I didn't even know you until a minute ago. And see? What was I saying about interesting facts?
