"Hello. Morning. Bore da. Konnichi wa. Uh-- Guten tag? I'm running out of varied responses." Rhad grins, holding out a hand. "Rhad Hades. What's the name?"

"Bonjour. You know far more forms of hello than I do." Laughing, Olivia shakes the offered hand and smiles brightly. "My name is Olivia." She pauses to consider this a moment. "Olivia Breed. Do you usually greet people so...fluently?"

"Nice to meet you." He grins. "Oh, sometimes. When I've got little to go on, I'll trot out a line of knowledge that might save me from awkwardness."

She laughs again. "Well, I suppose it's for the best to have something so charming to fall back on."

"Yeah," Tona says, spread out on a couch with a folder full of CDs open on his stomach. "What kind do you think's good? I've got to have some of it."

Tona raises an eyebrow and rifles through the folder. "Stravinsky?" he says, taking one CD out. "Bill Haley and the Comets? The Bee Gees? Metallica? The Pixies?"

Oliver just shrugs again, ever so helpful. "What's your favourite?"

Layla slips away from the shadows, lightly perching on the window seat near Oliver. "'Lo," she waves lightly, giving him a perfunctory greeting while peering out the window to see what he was sighing at. "What sort of music do you consider 'good music'?"

Oliver looks at her a moment, head slightly tilted, then shrugs and looks out at the stars again. "I don't know. I usually just listen to whatever's playing. Classical, hard rock, pop rock, whatever."

"I can't decide between most music; I like it all," she admits, before holding out a hand. "'m Layla, by the way."

"I don't go out much and we're usually lucky if the radio at home catches a signal. I can't afford to be picky." He hesitates a moment before shaking her hand. "Oliver."

A slight smile. "It rather depends on what music you like, one would think."
