For the second time, an absorbing story about characters whom I love lures me in despite my completely lack of interest in sports (the first time was The Starhorse's "Blue 42").

Drag Strip is so in-character. And I love the story's insight into the Stunticons in general, expressed in beautifully written narrative like "Home was where the fuel pump was, and the Stunticons pledged their undying, twisted love to the roads of concrete and asphalt." That? Is superb. I can't wait for more.

I have no real interest in sports either, and I'm hoping I don't botch what goes on in the next part too badly. Basketball was the only sport I was any good at anyways.

Besides the messed up dream, Goldfrapp's Fly Me Away is big chunk of the inspiration for this fic. That song always puts me in a good mood, and even if it's (sort of) about flying, it makes me think of the Stunticons. In a fluffy way, at any rate.

Thanks for your reviews. Coming from you, it means a lot :)

You're welcome. These stories are a pleasure to read!

The song that makes me think about the Stunticons is C. W. McCall's Convoy, because there's a line in it about a Kenworth. Always brings Motormaster to mind.

Weird Al Yankovic's Hardware Store is my Constructicons song.

There will be more when my morning coffee jitters stop. Sometimes I hate coffee season.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for reading :)

I wonder if Skywarp will be allowed to teleport his way to the hoop.

Allowed? Of course not. This is a fair and balanced game.
