[fic] Snow World

Thanks to me randomnly getting the flu for the first time in like a billion years, this fic is squeaking in so close to the deadline it depresses me. It's probably clumsy in some areas, but wow I need to sleep.

Congratulations. I think you just got me interested in these guys. One of the few gestalt teams I'm not all that familiar with, which needs to be rectified. Now.

I don't know them all that well, but I don't think it seems clumsy. Reads fine to me. Good work.

Not to deter you, but don't get too excited about researching the Terrorcons - most of that characterization is me making things up based off of bios. In G1 they're absolute morons, and they cameo in IDW for a handful of pages. The life and times of a secondary character ;)

But getting to know them and fleshing them out has been half the fun for me. I hope people do like what I've done with them :) Thanks for reading, and for your review!

Oh fantastic! I'm always in awe of your creative ideas and the team's interactions are great, as always.

Poor Blot. No one listens to him.

No one stands near Blot long enough to listen to what he has to say *rimshot*

Thanks for reading :)

yay! you made it! ^_^ (too bad i didn't)

loved their characterizations; very much what's presented in IDW, but not entirely discarding the idea that they could be a bonded gestalt. *thumbs up* greatly enjoyed it.

You should still post yours when it's finished! Bring more love to the comm :)

Who knows what IDW canon will do with them (probably nothing), but I thought they had a lot of potential in that verse. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

eep! Creepy sneaky snow, and WAY too much of it D:

I don't know the first thing about Terrorcons, but all the characters and their interactions felt very real and interesting - and I was nail biting at the end, waiting to see if they would all get out ok!

I liked the resigned "we're going to carry on no matter what sort of slag the universe decides to throw at us" note at the end, too. Enjoyed very much :)

Beachworld is a lot creepier, and that's all sand D: Way to make something mundane terrifying, Stephen King!

The ending isn't quite as bittersweet as yours (the whole thing made me go 'b'awwwww'), but I think we've proven that no matter what faction you belong to, everyone misses Cybertron. Thanks for reading!

Damn, now I really want to read Beachworld. I love the idea of sentient sand or sentient snow. It may be intelligent and purposeful, but you can't communicate with it or reason with it. I'm glad it didn't get Blot, but I also wonder what it might have done if Hun-Grr hadn't gotten them both out of there.

Speaking of Hun-Grr, his authority comes through clearly in the fic. The Terrorcons might be tough, but they'd have lost against the ice planet if he hadn't made the decisions, organized the retreat and looked out for Blot. Good leadership, and a great story.

Beachworld is in the Skeleton Crew anthology, one of the first Stephen King collections I ever read. I'm a huge fan of The Mist, and Uncle Otto's Truck is, I think, actually haunted by Motormaster.

Without Hun-Grrr the Terrorcons would undoubtedly fall to pieces. Without the other Terrorcons, Hun-Grrr would probably be miserable. He knows how to play their strengths so that they all come out on top at the end of the day.

Thanks for reading and reviewing :)
