why do i hate the schuylkill? what should have been a 25 minute journey took over an hour due to "construction". it's in quotes because there was less than 1/4 mile of one lane blocked off for workers, one state trooper with flashers on, and one construction vehicle - lights off, no workers in sight anywhere ( Read more... )

Penna is really good at messing up its roads. I can remember stretches of miles of "construction" with the only area being worked short enough to walk in a few seconds. I don't think I've been on the main part of the Schuylkill in ages and I certainly don't miss it. However, the PA Turnpike was definitely full of merge fail tonight.

Hope you were able to get some rest, at least.
