I've been messing around with Vera's design in my head for a while but finally decided to put it on paper. hrrrf. She'd be set alongside Skaden and Asta and whoever else.
Aw man what, those brush strokes look paintery as hell
How does CS5 handle in comparison to CS4 and painter? Photoshop isn't awful for drawing but the more art geared programs always seemed to be easier to doodle/paint around with to me.
I have never used CS4 so I have no idea! I mainly had problems in Painter with the lagging, and CS5 is considerably less laggy but still has the same basic capabilities one would seek in Painter. It has mixing brushes, which all have settings you can mess with. So far I'm enjoying it, especially now that I've found pencilly brushes!
Eee, more characters for this I like this plan. She looks mighty animated. AND YET STURDY. I like how the weight on her hips is so dominant...not overpowering in the slightest, but enough to suggest just the teensiest of feminine flounce. That perspectiiiive; pssst, cylinders! everything is a cylinder, you are a cylinder what do you think of that--
