Whoever wrote that blurb for the calendar deserves a medal. "Nuns frolicking in the surf like peguins?" GENIUS!

Nuns also get to hang out with celebrities--check out this photo:

That picture is boggling my brain! I wonder if they got to sing along to an opulent Liberace tune? INCREDIBLE.

I like the faux-fancy cardboard backdrop, too.

Have you ever seen Liberace's cookbook? There's a copy at the public library here. He takes you on a tour of his (~18?) formal dining rooms. I was at an antique store recently and I swear I saw the rococo-style console television from his TV dining room, or at least one EXACTLY like it.

Oh, I'm dying to find a copy of his cookbook. I have the ornate coffee table book that was published right before he died, and I love it.

I tried to read his autobiography once, but it was SO BORING! And full of lies, of course. For better or for worse I think Scott Thorson's book reveals Lee as he truly lived.

It's so hard to imagine -- the average age of nuns is 65 years old, but there must be young nuns, too. What do they think about?

Oh my god, Esther Williams spills all the dirt. She has no qualms about discussing her sex life, or the size of her lover's penis. Delicious! One of the few tell-alls that really delivers!

I like the vicious Amazon reviews, especially "Esther Williams has a very high opinion of herself." The hallmark of a good autobiography!

It sounds GREAT.

Oh, and. Look at this. I think I need a print of that.

But that's not all.

I think I need this German-nun-medicine t-shirt:
