Yum. I don't know the fandom at all, but I certainly loved the character, the sneakiness and the nice hot jazzy sass.

Thanks. It's a tv show, a police type drama that also focuses on the relationships/real lives of the two main characters. Worth a watch if you like that sort of thing. Jane and Maura are heterosexual in the show, but there's just so much chemistry between them... yeah. I'm a little obsessed.

Yeah, I do think you'd like it a lot. Season one is available on netflix now, btw, so there you go! Plus if you watched it, then I'd have someone to fangirl endlessly with, lol.
