When you watched the show the first time, did you expect that we'll be seeing the "public face" of Rossum/Dollhouse? Was the revelation that Caroline started out as an animal activist surprised you as a viewer?
I did not expect to see the public face of Rossum. I was actually unimpressed with the public face of Rossum because I thought he wasn't... attractive... face-wise? ha ha ha. I guess he was supposed to be sleazy, but I also didn't get that from Clive Ambrose. I thought he was kinda weak?
Caroline starting out as an animal activist surprise me. It's just... idk. I thought she was part of Rossum and broke away.
The drug affects non-Actives or those without Active architecture very quickly. When you first watched the episode, did Dr. Saunders' absence obviously pointed to her being an Active?
Nah, I actually only noticed she wasn't there in the end and all I could think about was, "man, Amy Acker missed a cracktastic episode." I am such an observant viewer.
And now knowing that Boyd has Active architecture, is it

Also, I forgot about Adelle's bitterness with not having Clive Ambrose's job. Where is that bitterness coming from, omg. lol (I'm now guessing she and Ambrose were both vying for that position and she was passed over?)
How awesome was DeWitt and Dominic framed in the staff meeting scene? (very)
VERY. I love how everything was framed in this episode and the shiznit. Awesome awesome awesome
Knowing that Dr. Saunders was an Active and watching the staff meeting scene, was it a known secret by the staff that this Dr. Saunders is a retired Active, or are we assuming that most of the members of the staff were killed by Alpha?
I'm assuming it's an open secret? Or maybe, half of the members of the staff were killed and the other half knows that Dr. Saunders is an active.
What were your thoughts on the way DeWitt and Dominic handled the meeting?
DeWitt is very zen-like, but a firm HBIC at the same time. She acts like the higher-up who you can approach but can also kill you with the power of her stare if you fuck up. Dominic, on the other hand, acts as the force to deter you from fucking up so that you don't have to die from DeWitt's powerful and scary stare. I think their style is complementary. lol.
