I don't know why I even pretended I wasn't going to do this. *g*
All I can think of are fannish related names too! And I have to say, fandom has ruined some of my daughter's suggestions: Maya, Chaya, Sora (TS and SGA, resp.) Why are the women all evil?!
Hmm - Penny may have possibilities... *ponders* Thanks!
I'm all about the two syllable names with dogs. Better for yelling across the dogpark. You can drag it out satisfyingly. Or bark it out short when you get really mad.
CUTE! I'm not surprised that you were powerless to resist - anyone would be. Just look at those pawsies!
My only suggestion for names is to have one that doesn't end in the "ee" sound, like your current dog's name. I agree that two-syllable names are definitely the way to go. I'd suggest Milo but I suppose that's technically a boy's name.
I was thinking Kayla, but now that she's here I'm not sure that suits. So far I'm leaning towards Shari, but yeah, that ee sound at the end may be problematic. Maybe Shara or Danya. Daughter suggested Rata, Mica, or Miada.
She's a real cuddler, but I can already see hints of future stubbornness.
And Keri is giving me betrayed looks and the expected jealousy pushiness but so far all is quiet in their sleeping area in the garage. Fingers crossed for continued quiet but I don't really expect it. *g*

How about Charlie? I have nothing.

I suspect she will be Puppy! for weeks. We're having a really hard time agreeing on names.

(Satchmo would be too fannish, wouldn't it? Also it's a boy's name. Um... yeah, I dunno. :-)

It's nature's way of tricking you into it. Or a defence mechanism. One or the other. ;-)
