Sometimes, I don't even know why I'm trying so hard. Does it even make a difference? Will the people that matter even bother?

i guess it's something like saying ignorance is bliss but on the other hand it's just self-deception...
we can always choose which way we want to see ourselves as ba, a fighter or a coward, doesn't really matter whether there's 2 sides to anything...which side we choose is what really matters?

gulps. human nature may be innately selfish, but that doesn't mean you cannot CONSCIOUSLY do something against that nature, so that you may live up to your moral values and principles. i mean, yeah, well said. i think i'll be k-ed by many ppl too if i stubbornly stick to my principles (like how u said ur mum ticked u off), but still. if u do think tt that guilt will stay with u, then don't do it la? otherwise if you have no qualms then go ahead i guess

the situation i'm in is not as simple as it seems.. but anyway i don't think the desired outcome will be achieved, so maybe i won't have to deal with the moral dilemma after all.

you said you despised others for not facing up to reality but really that is one side of the story. yes, i agree that humans are innately selfish but maybe that is what keeps the world spinning. i am not saying that we should all be selfish and start acting solely in our personal interests but rather im trying to tell you that the strong survive and persist with what is supposately "selfish" in others eyes.

if another person is dropping out becauz of ur appeal letter thats cauz they probably were not even convincing enough to hold that place. to the rubbish bin that person goes.

in the meantime think positive, think about the holiday!~ =P

didi!~
