Today we had three goldfinches at once on the bird feeder! Previously we had not seen more than two at a time and thus could not confirm the presence of more than two. Attracting neighborhood goldfinches down into the yard is pretty much the #1 reason we installed a feeder in the first place, so we're bubbly and happy about the increased sightings.

We started getting permanent goldfinches last year - three pairs at a time! Usually they'd stay for a week or two, but then keep going north. I already saw one yesterday, so expect more this season.

Have heard the woodpecker as well, but haven't seen which one (or more than one) we have right now. It'll be fun to see :)
