I just got back a beta'd fic from and it never fails to amaze me how she manages to still (a) love me and (b) still have a well of patience for my mistakes

Erm... at least I gave you fair warning when I started the beta that you had badly mangled the tenses in that fic. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen you mangle a fic throughout like you did that one *BG*. In all honesty, you haven't written first person POV in a long time so it's natural that you got confused. Methinks it might be time for some more Leandros fic as practice... hmmm?

I got fair warning, flags, balloons and everything else you could toss in my general direction. I put on my sunglasses when I opened the fic. You're right, I'm out of first person practice... we need to revisit Cal and Niko for me to sharpen my skills.
