'K, I admit I've seen the film, know of the comic books, but haven't read them. But I do know enough about the comic books characters to read this and love it! You never cease to amaze with with the maturity of your writing. Seriously.

At least they're both enjoying it, even if the polyester in the sheets is playing hell with John's knees and spread legs. Gonna have a rash in the morning.

Made me grin. The socks were just brilliant. The constant reminders of the hotel room really made this feel 'real'. As did John's fear.

The two of them face one another, heaving in breaths, sheeted in sweat and bathed in the glow of the cheap Holiday Inn 60 watt bulbs.

Is a really vivid image that I loved.

This was real, dirty, and I loved it.

Don't know the fandom at all, but wow, this was really good. Your descriptive details - both of the surroundings and the sex ;) - were really well-chosen - you really made me picture the Holiday Inn! And I loved the dialogue too, it was touching but very realistic and made me smile in places. Excellent work! :D
