...Not sure how I managed not to reply over at the_phrensies when you sent me the link: please put it down to Generalised Fail. ANYWAY. This is - OF COURSE - entirely made of awesome. It's so sad, so incredibly sad - I love no one having been out of mourning to have gatherings - but also FULL OF HOTNESS AND WIN. I think my very favourite bits are THE WRIST SCARS ZOMG (why is there not more fic with scars! SCARS ARE GREAT - in fact, did I ever say how much I loved your fic with the SI? I can't remember if I told you how super that was or not, but it WAS) and the end! The end is just utterly heartbreaking and I'm not quite sure why. But something about Edward quoting and, and, and NOT EVEN LIKING SHAKESPEARE. And RICHARD. Oh, it is just fabulous. *cries*

It is heartbreaking because they are BOTH SO BROKEN AND THEY KNOW IT, AND THEY ARE DOOMED TO HAVE A FUCKED-UP RELATIONSHIP BECAUSE OF IT. Poor damaged boys. This made me terribly sad to write -- it is a little bit amazing that a fic that pretty much represents the various kinks of so many members of the fandom is SO DEPRESSING, but it certainly made me sad.

ANYWAY I am glad you like it! And that it is hot where it is supposed to be! I was terribly concerned about that, since this is the most explicit thing I've written on my own.
