I was startled to see Stage Door on your list - since it came out in the 1930s - so I went to IMDB and found the listing for http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116576/. Is that the one you mean?

err... the original title for that link is Hu Du Men, which apparently came out in 1996.

But then I kept looking, and found Stagedoor: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446788/. I don't know why that one didn't show up the first time...

yes, this is the one. I saw on a website that it was released in new york, I don't know if it was released anywhere else, but I imagine it's on DVD somewhere...at least I hope! it looked really interesting...I don't know a one from the 1930s...what's that one about?
