It's not crazy to be Pro-Life. It's crazy to want and try to take away the right a woman has to chose to do what she wants with her body. It's not your body, it's not hurting you if she chooses to get an abortion. Believe what you want to believe. Just don't force your belief on me ( Read more... )

Yes. I'm terrified Roe V. Wade will be overturned and that will be a sad day for America.

Yes this video is full of political spin, but it basically agrees with what i've found so far.
I agree that the two sides are in no position to hold a dialogue of any kind given the way they view each other.
I agree that there are women who use abortion as a form of birth control. do i condone it? no. but what is the better option? make those women have the child because "that'll teach 'em"? what kind of life is that for a child? and don't give me any of the 'there's always adoption'...there are way too many babies and children that are not and never adopted in this country, we don't need to add to that.
In regards to what Sarah Palin would or would not do when in office, of course I can't say. But so far everything I've been able to find about her gives the impression she runs her offices "my way or the highway". If you have other articles, documents, whatever, PLEASE forward them to me. I'm trying to find both sides and I'm just not.

oh, I forgot something. I don't disagree that finding a way to reduce the number of abortions is a bad idea. But the answer is not to make them illegal. I don't know for sure what will work, but the answer is probably education, something that can never happen if 'abstinence only' is taught in classrooms. (which seems to be another point she prefers) People are going to have sex. So make them educated about consequences, if necessary, provide them with contraception. I don't like the idea of abortion.Faced with the situation myself, i honestly don't know if i could go through with it, given what i just went through with the miscarriage. But it doesn't matter what i would or would not do. I should still have the right to decide what I would do.
