Water water everywhere

Well, it did it again. Rained, I mean. And a bit more and a bit harder too. Enough so that there are puddles on the ground. And mud. And I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon. The clouds still look scandalous, it's not especially warm, and the ground isn't all that conducive to water seeping into it very far.

I'm bored.

Well, there you have it. Two rains in a desert-type of land. Actually, I don't know where you are. The Mesopotamia was the fertile valley between the Tigris and the Euphrates, the "birthplace of civilization" I was told. You certainly are in an anciently civilized place. It's a fascinating place.

And then again, after this post, it rained some more. I just hope it stops long enough to dry up. This mud everywhere is killing me. And it doesn't help that the temperature is getting steadily lower.
