I just got it today. I really like it. I'm not a big fan of the fans singing in the background, but-t-t I love the songs. They're great (:

Ditto on Lacuna Coil. I wasn't disappointed, more like underwhelmed. I didn't connect with it well.

I was actually a bit disappointed with 30STM too because the entire album seemed to be all over the place, and I wasn't a fan (haha) of the fan voices. Hurricane was also my favorite track.

Yeah, Lacuna Coil just sounded bland, overall.

How many tries have you given 30STM? It took a couple for me, and then it clicked musically. Also, where did you get your copy of the album? I'm hearing conflicting reports about whether or not the Kanye version of "Hurricane" is on the album. :-/

I heard they pulled Hurricane off the official album, but I got my copy from a LJ friend who sent me a download link. She might have found it online somewhere.

Actually, "Hurricane" is on the album, but from what I hear, it just doesn't have Kayne's contribution. Which is so weird that the Kanye version is available online, but not on the actual album. :-/
