Otherwise, you basically said everything I've been thinking, but simply didn't rant about in my own blog. When I posted that link earlier I was simply too flabbergasted to put more than a few coherent sentences together. I mean, seriously? What kind of an asshat does something like this?

I'm dumbfounded that the guy did this when the election will be over in less than a month, but this kid could be stuck with this name for the next 80+ years. I heard of a case where the couple named their twins "Brett" and "Farve", but I guess at least they were in agreement about their kids' awful names.

Frankly, the wife needs to change the name back. If her husband can go behind HER back, she can certainly go behind HIS (and then take measures to make sure he'd never do that again).
What's sad is that he couldn't even settle for changing "Ava Grace" for "Sarah Grace" which still isn't forgivable in terms of how he handled it, but at least it wouldn't have been AS bad. :-/
