I really enjoyed this show too. Found it fresh and creatively original, compared to most network fare. I fear for the future, because this seems like a premise that can only work for a few seasons before either turning predictable or stale. But for now, I'm enjoying the ride. Love the bright colors and the absurd gags, etc. Fabulous cast, too.

I hope they're brave enough to just let this show end when it needs to, before it gets predictable or goes stale.

I was so happy the other day when I saw Pushing Daisies was getting a second season. I love this show. Absolutely love it.

I'm still trying to figure out how they'll resolve some of the tension between Ned and Chuck, too, and that's part of what keeps me watching.

It'll be interesting, to say the least. I've heard the writers say that Chuck and Ned will NEVER be allowed to touch, so we'll see. :)

Hmmm.

Is it sad that I can think of ways to, uh, release some of that tension without the two of them ever touching? Granted, none of those ways could be shown on network television, but...

One thing I like about the show is the narration/voice over. Around the same time I started watching Pushing Daises I got a Harry Potter audio book from the library, and the reader of the book Jim Dale is the same guy who does the narration. He's really good, so every time I saw the show I was reminded of Harry Potter, and it amuses me for that odd reason.

I like the narration too. I can't believe I forgot to mention it in my review, but yeah. It's just right for a show like this.

And he reads HP? Very cool. :)
