I'm back, but in the very loose sense of the word. I've been up here in New Hampshire for nearly a week, and already realize that Live Journal time will have to be cut back to weekends, and even then, there's no guarantee

What a busy weekend! It's good to hear that the map was helpful!
I'm almost happy to hear you didn't make it into DC, because I left early for work thinking I could call you guys when I hit like Dupont Circle and figure out where we could meet up for a while, but the Beltway was a parking lot, and my "hour early" turned into being nearly-late for work! So I guess I have you to thank for being on time last Friday ;)
I like Baltimore. Spent a summer there when I was 16. Was great. :)
If you ever feel like running away from New Hampshire down to Boston for a day, let me know. ;) And if you'r desperate for a mall, go to Nashua. That's about all the advice I've got.
Heee...I've already been to the mall in Nashua (no sales tax, yay!!!!!! I got the BEST rain jacket at Old Navy), but it might be nice to retreat to Boston one weekend. Only, I don't have a car, so that makes things interesting.
It'd be super-fun to meet you though! I forgot you're in Boston!
Heeee...I felt SO BAD for that damn red light incident! Obviously, cause I even had a nightmare about it that night...
Ah yes, I'm alive and kicking. And dreaming about kittens, oddly enough. I need something furry to cuddle up with. :)
Yes, I can't wait to do something like this again either. It'd be interesting, but it'd be fun to find a way to make it all work. When, though, is another question...
Glad you had such a great time! *looks out the window at the Science Center and Aquarium* Kway probably mentioned this, but I suck at being a good tourist - I've lived beside these places for fifteen years and haven't been in them since the early '90s. ;)
It's nice to hear that B'more was a fun place to visit, though (I have to remind myself of that when I'm looking out the hospital windows and thinking that we have a very sucky/depressing skyline, at least in that part of town). If you get a chance to come back into town let me know - I can get you a list of hotels that are a lot more user-friendly than the Pikesville Ramada!
It's easy to overlook the appeal of living in a "touristy" place...I live very close to the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, DollyWood area, and none of those things are very much novelties, simply because they've been in my backyard all my life. :)
