I should read the one of the 4 listed I haven't read ....Phantom by Susan Kay.

You have no idea how hard this made me flail. \o/ It is seriously a fantastic book, a re-telling of The Phantom of the Opera, only it starts at Erik's birth and details his life, and the whole Christine ordeal is about 1/6th of the story as a whole. 1/6th.
