SO, UH. Tonight's episode of Being Human (US) has really really really concreted in my head that, I need to finish this goddamn Bishop/Aidan fanfic. Because basically everything that was said/alluded to.... is stuff I've already written. To an almost terrifying degree

I couldn't really decide between the first two options, just consider me as having gone for both. I want porn for quite odd reasons - I actually think a lot of character development happens in sex scenes and characters are at their most intense (and often, though not always, their most honest) with each other when having sex. So, therefore, I vote for more of it :D

It's interesting, there was a fandomsecret about it a couple of days back, but I can't remember what day . . . someone was saying they read porn for the plot. And reading the discussion that post provoked made me realize I feel the same way about it!

I mean, I'm not saying fics that don't include sex can't have character developments, and in fact a lot of my favourite fanfics are very PG-13! But, there's nothing quite like sex to cut down to characters' bones. It's a time when everything becomes intensified and everyone gets quite raw. Sure, some people can hide their feelings during the act, but most people can't.

I noticed, too, that I prefer sex scenes which aren't too hardcore - if it starts reading like a bad porno script I click away. I don't need to know the entire mechanics and every little detail of what happens, I just want to hear more about the characters :p

Sorry for the essay! I may write a less confusing journal entry about this later. Or I may not. I'm not sure yet :p

THERE ARE ALL THE BISHOP/AIDAN ALLUSIONS. Ohgod, I watched that scene twice (second time on the re-run) and was grinning like an idiot the entire time.

And yes! There is a certain level of stress trying to get the logistics of the act down without killing all the passion. Part of me thinks I should try it because I've never done it before, but I suppose it'd be best to stick with the mood of the piece and take it from there. /nodnod
