Have you never thought that perhaps a weakness is not a weakness but a strength? Maybe so. I've done things that warrant it.
But there are people who always slip through the cracks. Genius. Criminal. Insane. Society, social norms... are not made for those people. Instead of assimilating them it pushes them outwards, to the edge so that all they can see is those cliffs. All they can see is the temptation. Would you call yourself one of those people, then?

Hence our need to create a civilised society bound by rules, dogma, tradition. Boundaries. Cliffs with rocky depths gazing up invitingly from below.
