...and then some! [Topic change, he is all over it!] Now that I'm out of the hospital, I've got to get back to setting up the school, and with Ushiromiya-san gone, I'm going to see if I can pick up where she left off keeping tabs on the cafeteria and food supplies. I was helping her with her records, so as far as I know, I'm the closest thing to a replacement we've got. And of course I need to work on ways to stay out of the hospital in the future! [Shoot, is he rambling?, he is totally rambling.]

I dunno.... About losing people, I mean. It definitely makes things harder for us, and there's people who've vanished that I would have liked to get to know more... but at the same time, not being here anymore means they got to go home. So really, we should be jealous, but I can't be that, either. I'm mostly glad for them, you know?

[Suddenly we realize this is taking place in his now all-too-big-and-empty house, because the moon's too creepy for tea on the lawn. He leaves Stephanie in the living room to hurry across the open hallway to the kitchen, where he bustles about with the cups and hot water and instant coffee and tries to figure out what to do to alleviate things a little.
He's so caught up in thought that he's got about five cups of coffee poured and mixed before realizing what he's done, and squeaks in surprise at himself.] Geh!
