[Not quite one lone wolf - as Riza was reacting as soon as another giant thing showed up. She did notice Tsume out of the corner of her eye, but as far as she knew, he was still Tsume's 'pet'. Or something. She'd lost track of what she knew and didn't right now. All that mattered was fighting. And not allowing - Tsume included - die.

Vaguely, it did resister that the wolf was talking.] I have to agree. I'll double team if you want me to, but I won't get in your way.

[He dodged the failing coils of the beast as he ran directly at it. Bouncing off the wall of one of the houses still standing, he leaped directly for the beast's back. Landing on it and ignoring the pain that had immediately started in his paws, Tsume bit down. His voice was quick and sharp, the adrenaline coursing through in the middle of a battle.]

If you've got a gun, now would be the time to use it!

[Riza nodded and brought up the Ak-47 and started to pump the worm full of the bullets, aiming for the weak spot that she'd found not long ago. It was, as far as she knew, the quickest way to kill the things, but it still would take some time.

And then she noticed Tsume on the thing and pretty much screamed the order.] GET OFF. THE SKINS ACID OF SOME KIND.

[She'd seen what one had done to metal. She wasn't going to take chances with a living creature.]

[Tsume had a lot of moxie, but not so much in terms of brains, especially when he was in attack mode. Riza's warning came a few seconds too late as Tsume found out the hard way as his mouth felt like it was being lit on fire.

With a pained yelp, he jumped off, hacking and coughing to get whatever remnants of the flesh out of his mouth. A great deal of blood came out along with it. Despite his injuries, Tsume sounded angrier than ever.] I'm gonna tear that bug apart...

If you are dead, you cannot. [Riza herself was snarling as well, used to dealing with the foolishness of the males she worked with, but this was more. This was fury, and yes, it scared her, but -

She wasn't going to allow him to get hurt any more.] DON'T!

[Tsume had begun to charge in another fruitless attack at the beast when Riza's yell made him pause, dodging the worm as it began to fail around again.]

I'm fine, Riza.

[Of course, he would have been saying that even if he was an inch and a half away from dying.]

I hope this is ok? thehawks_eye March 24 2011, 08:23:30 UTC
Quite frankly, you are not. [Of course, she's going to storm/run to the wolf, while pumping the worm full of bullets.

It does take a moment for her to work out who this is - it's not hard, considering she's seen almost everyone's faces but now. She ignores the surprise, for now.] And I will not allow anyone to die on my watch, is that understood? And if you attack that thing again, you will die because of your recklessness.

[Hi, I hope you like full blown lieutenant mode, Tsume. That and she's acting like an alpha female, too.]

[His ears flatten down and his hackles rise in a show of frustration, but it's little more than a temper tantrum. He won't actually do anything to Riza besides continue to argue and protest.]

You are a very stubborn and difficult woman. [He tries to edge around her, hoping to charge at the worm just one more time before he passes out.]

I have been told. [She blocks him as best she can, unwilling to allow such stupidity. If he were human, he'd have been kicked down.] And frankly, I;d rather be difficult and keep you safe than see you die.

[Still shooting bullets into the worm, yo.]

[With a loud growl, Tsume finally sinks down, relenting in his stubborn task.] Fine. But I'll rest just for a moment.

[And if a moment happened to stretch out into a bit longer, well, he wasn't going to complain.]
