You still intend to return to Hell then?

There's a quiet hum that turns into a low rumble if it gets closer. The girl on the bike is ready. Her tools are packed and in the side bags, there's enough gas in her tank to get to to the next town at least. There's nothing left to hold her here, except...

It isn't fair. He hates that that's the only reason he can think of, that he has no grand and poetic words for the rage he feels over this. But try as he may, the only accurate description of what he feels... is that it isn't fair. That he, who'se power makes him oneo f the most important beings on his world cannot leave while she, she who makes no difference at all... can.

It isn't fair. And he will not let it happen. Not if he can prevent it. That is why he blocks her way, sword in hand. Might controls everything. He's going to teach her that lesson right here, right now.

She smiles a bit, seeing him there. Really, she hadn't expected any less of him, though he had in no small part, hoped that he wouldn't stand in her way. His presence certainly complicated things, if nothing else.

Left low on supplies from their first go-round, trying to disable him was out of the question. Unlike guns and scrolls, the power in his sword would never run out. He was as ready to go again as he had ever been. Further more, if she did try to force her way, there was no guarantee he wouldn't just destroy her bike. It would leave her just as stranded as if the barrier were still up.

Sighing, she steps off her bike, dropping the keys casually in a back pocket, and looks up at the demon in front of her.

"You foolish girl". That was all she was to him, back then. A stupid little girl who closed her eyes to the turth, and got burned because of it.

"You foolish girl". She believed in her father. She believed that snake loved her and ment only her best. She believed his lies. And she still does.

Foolish little Mary believes there's a way to make all the pain and sorrow and filth and horrors that stalk the night go away, that she can go back to the peaceful, happy litte life she had before she found out what true evil was. He could let her go. He could let her see for herself how hopeless her struggle is, and how stupid she is to hope. But he won't. He wants to see her crack. he wants to see her break. And if he's going to have to do it himself, so be it.

He starts to walk towards her.
