Best Shopping Day EVAH

Rockland decided to have no school today and tack one on to the end of the year so, because I am a supremely awesome and responsible adult, I begged my mum to make me an eye doctor's appointment so I can get contacts before the wedding. My eyes seriously got really worse. My "good" eye needed a 4.25 up from a 3.75 a year ago. When I told Mum she ( Read more... )

I'm going to explode, I think. It's noon and there's totally no one here.

I loved reading about your shopping trip. I want to see a picture of your Hello Kitty sheets. I have always wanted some, but I haven't seen any in queen size. Good luck with all of your cooking. I am sick of it already.

We have a crappy full, so that's why I was able to find sheets. We got these sheets: http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?cat=Kids+Room&pid=096C3118000&vertical=HSWR&subcat=Bedding&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes

Haha, it's a full. It was mine before we moved in together and beat Steven's twin.

Coach is truly the devil. I hate spending money, but even I once went in there and bought a $90 white, leather iPod Mini case. WHY, GOD, WHY?! I hardly use it! It's still stiff as a board!

And you reminded me that I desperately need an eye exam. I'm 3.75 in both eyes right now. The left one is a little worse, but not enough for a 'script change. But it's been like, two years now.

That's my PSA for the day: have your eyes checked :)

I usually buy knockoff things at Penney's, though after the wedding, I am going to start making my own bags.

Ooh, I can't wait to see what you make! That's how the designer Todd Oldham got into fashion—making purses for girls at school when he was little, lol.

That's really cool. I love Todd Oldham's stuff, too. I'll definitely be posting pictures.

I am so jealous of your KitchenAid mixer. I would kill for one, but Luke just doesn't get that. He says he's not getting me a kitchen appliance for Christmas. He doesn't understand that it is so much more than any other appliance. :)

He's just afraid that you, like me, will leave him for it. At least Steven and I have an "understanding" about how many nights I can spend with KAM.

So if Luke and I come to an agreement on how many nights I can go off with my own mixer, then he'll be okay with me getting one? What would be a good amount of visiting that would be non-threatening to my man? :D

I'm thinking about two or three nights with the mixer per week, more during holidays and the Superbowl.

You could also see if he'd be willing to try using the mixer with you. Who knows? He may like it ;)
