Rock the Casbah! (Hanson Tour Report)

Dec 12, 2007 11:03

Wow. I was so going to do this yesterday, but my sister wanted me to wait until we got back from my moms, and I didn't get back until 8 and I was so so tired. But, I called in to work today (work sounded totally not fun) and have all the time in the world (7 hours?), so here we go!

Cut for anyone on my flist who could care less about Hanson :) )

big big day, video post, no mention of jared!, hanson, pictures, gameworks

This is one of the best concert reviews I've ever read. "I'm pretty good at Guitar Hero..." LOL!

Okay, what the hell was a giant monkey doing on the stage?

Wow, that's awesome to hear! I'm glad you really liked it, since it took me like 2 hours to finish. Glad my hard work payed off :) And I am pretty good at GH, and would have no problem playing in the name of Africa.

I'm still not sure. They just brought it up there. Maybe it's Isaacs and he really really loves it and wanted to share a special moment on stage with it.

lol yeah, he wears it around his neck. i almost asked him about it in KC, but before I could embarrass myself by asking him a very personal question, a nosy fan told me he was wearing it on a necklace. lol

Yeah, you didn't really miss out on the walk. Or at least I think so. But the show was amazing and probably the best concert I'll ever go to.

Aww, that's nice of you to say :) Really, I'm not prepared for all these compliments I've been getting lately. COMPLIMENT THE HANSON PEOPLE. 'Cause they really need the self-assurance ;p

It's from a song by The Boston Post (Scott Moffatts first band sans-The Moffatts) called, uh, "The Boston Post" lol. If you want me to upload it for you, I certainly will!

OMG your commentary had me rolling, so funny :) I too have the fear of the escalators. People pushing me on one would freak me out. Then the whole bit in Mallrats with the kid on the escalator really never helped. I digress.

Looked like fun despite the freeze. Wish I got to go to more than one show. I would love to have seen them do Christmasy songs :)

Yes, I am also afraid of elevators. It sucks though, since I'm too lazy to use stairs. Ah, the irony that is my life. AND MALLRATS! I LOVE THAT MOVIE TO PIECES! (And hey, it was filmed here in MN...win!)

When they ended with 'White Christmas', I was almost ready to yell out "If you want the snow, take it with you!" but figured it would be rude and kind of stupid. Stupid weather.
